About the fund

The Norma R. Smith Memorial Scholarship was established in 2022 in memory of our loving mother, Norma R. Smith, an amazing woman whose heart embraced not only her children, but all those within her sphere of influence. The scholarship is a $2,000 award given to a graduating senior of African-Nova Scotian descent, to be used at a post-secondary institution of their choice.
