Green Shield Canada (GSC) celebrated its 60th anniversary of social responsibility and charitable giving in 2019, and, to mark the milestone, established the GSC Impact Fund. Through it, they donated $6 million to priority projects across six Canadian communities. Titled “Six 4 Six,” the communities included: Hamilton, ON; Windsor Essex region, ON; Calgary, AB; and the Atlantic region.

The Community Foundation of Nova Scotia was pleased to partner with GSC to administer the program in Atlantic Canada, which focused on oral and mental health.
