Who we are:

The South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society was formed to meet palliative care needs in Lunenburg and Queens Counties.

Palliative care is an interdisciplinary approach to care for people with life limiting illness. It focuses on providing relief from the symptoms, pain, physical stress, and mental stress at any stage of illness.  

Purpose:

With its mission to promote compassionate, accessible, end of life care, through partnerships, education, advocacy and the provision of resources, the Society works cooperatively within the community to enhance the provision of care and service.

Donations:

If you would like to donate to this fund, donations of up to $500 can be made through CanadaHelps.
